He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Davis and Amelia Frances Tate Davis; his siblings, John Davis, Charles Davis, Ophelia Ross, Evelyn Brown, Betty Scruggs and Gloria Ross; and his grandchildren, Corbin Lindsey and Davis Lindsey.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Kelley Davis; his children, Rodney Davis (Theresa) of Easley and Michelle Lindsey of Taylors; his niece Gail Smith (Phillip) of Greer; his sister Linda Lynn of Greer; his grandchildren, Chase Kemp, Kyle Jones, Kelsey Hendrick, Devin Davis and Dylan Davis; and his great grandchildren, Parker, Adam, Karis, Raheem, Colt, Riggins, Noah and Marilynn Grace.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM at the Faith Temple (5080 Sandy Flat Rd, Taylors, SC 29687). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
