She was predeceased by: her parents, Spencer Banks and Della Banks; and her husband Ed Coates. She is survived by: her children, Brian Coates (Sherri) and Julie Sims (Don); her grandchildren, Taylor Dieter (Tuck), Harrison Coates (Elizabeth), Hunter Coates (Jordan), Noah Sims and Joshua Sims; and her great grandchildren, Emerson and Ava Dieter.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Graceland East Memorial Park (2206 Woodruff Rd, Simpsonville, SC 29681).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Edwards Road Baptist Church in honor of Louise's dedication to her faith and community.
