He was predeceased by: his siblings, George Garrison, Gordon Garrison and Helen Dudley; and his parents, Joseph "Jake" Garrison and Alice Garrison.

He is survived by: his wife Selma Garrison; his children, David Garrison, Anna Semanyk and Rhoda Tyler; and his grandson Nicholas Tyler.
