He is survived by: his wife Monica Schommer Frantz; his children, Nicholas Steven Frantz (Elizabeth) of Monroe and Patricia Jean "PJ" Serrano (Pete) of Pasco, Washington; his brothers, Jeffrey Frantz (Lynn) of Southbury and John Frantz (Evelyn) of Grass Valley, California; his brother-in-law Bob Schommer (Jean) of Ft. Meyers, Florida; and his grandchildren, Sofia, Lilli, Davy and Max.
