With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William David Link Sr. of Taylors, South Carolina, who passed away on May 14, 2026 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carter and Erlene Moon Link; his former wife Becky Collins Link; his son Stonewall Jackson Sprouse III; and his sisters, Deborah McElrath and Donna Pearson.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Newton Link; his children, Daniel R. Sprouse (Angie), William David Link Jr. (Amanda), Leslie Means (Colby) and Laura Newton (Steve); his brother Gary Link; and his grandchildren, Brooklyn Sprouse, Jackson Sprouse, James Link, Tripp Link, Tatum Means and Bennett Means. He is also survived by loving husband and devoted Pops and Pop Pop to his grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in David's memory may be made to Freedom Fellowship's building fund.
