We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2025, at the age of 85, Carsten Andrew Thuesen of Tega Cay, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen Madsen Thuesen and Carlo Thuesen. He is survived by: his children, Carsten and Marie; his close friend Mike; his wife Marie of Tega Cay; his children, Keith Thuesen (Diane) of Sherman, CT, Kent Thuesen (Stefanie) of New Fairfield, CT, Kim Stonebridge (Bill) of Ridgefield, CT and Christy Marshall (Kevin) of Urbandale, IA; his sister Linda Thuesen (Ray Omerod) of Somers, NY; his grandchildren, Justin, Jake, Samantha, Cody, Morgan, Kaitlin, Jacob, Hannah, Jack and Zachary; his niece Dawn Marie Soliman; his friend Curt Rozenkranz; John DeGrace (Lisa), Barbara Smith, Antonette Slepian (Ron), Deni and Owen.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Palmetto Funeral Home (2049 Carolina Pl, Fort Mill, SC 29708).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alcoholics Anonymous District 21 in SC, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
