Irby M. Weatherly Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 14, 2025, at the age of 89, Irby M. Weatherly (Timmonsville, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hannibal Lee and Rose Saverance Weatherly; his spouse Gayle Hodge Weatherly; and his siblings, Wib, Bobby, Marjorie Truluck and Edna Virginia Fountain.
He is survived by: his sons, Irby M. "Bud" Weatherly Jr. (Jill) and Kyle Weatherly (Susan); his siblings, Lee Weatherly (Connie) and Gwen Clements; his grandchildren, Katelyn Peake (Matthew) and David Weatherly (Madison); and his great grandchildren, Grayson, Ayden, Holden, Lyndsey, Kendall and Kyla.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cartersvlle Baptist Church (205 S Cartersville Hwy, Timmonsville, SC 29161). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at the Fair Hope Cemetery East Lynches.
