He was predeceased by : his parents, Ben Willingham, Sr. and Carrie Bell Roebuck Willingham; and his siblings, Mozelle Brown, Joe Allen Willingham, Arthur Lee Willingham and Ricky Willingham.

He is survived by : his wife Susie Willingham; his daughters, Heather Willingham and Nichelle Willingham; his brothers, Ben Willingham, Jr. (Jackie), Roy Willingham, Sylvester Willingham and David Willingham; and his sister-in-law Deborah Jones. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, co-workers, and friends.
