He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lee and Lillie Ann Noble Plumblee; and his wife Carol Simmons Plumblee. He is survived by: his children, Jan Plumblee and Phil Plumblee (Denise); his grandsons, Drew (Sarah), Jordan (Sarah) and Noah (Samantha); and his great grandchildren, Abby Grace, John, Lizzie, Eli, Carter, Hudson, Emma and Sapphire.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Locust Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (5534 Locust Hill Rd, Travelers Rest, SC 29690).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spring Park Assisted Living Employee Christmas Fund, 925 North Main Street, Travelers Rest, SC 29690.
