With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Bates Harrison of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 5, 2025 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her husband William O. Harrison; and her parents, Cicero Jefferson, Sr. and Florrie Mae Joyner Bates. She is survived by: her children, William "Billy" Harrison and Mary Elizabeth Rucci (Robert); her siblings, Cicero Jefferson "Jeff" Bates, Jr. and Sandra "Rose" Shannon (John); her grandchildren, Coleman Rucci, Riley Rucci (Mackenzie) and Avery Rucci; and her great grandchild Kynlee Rucci.
