Charles Edward Cannon Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Edward Cannon of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, who passed away on August 15, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert A. Cannon and Cecil Lee Williams Allen; his sons, Charles Edward Cannon, Jr., Roger Dale Cannon and Timothy Scott Cannon; his siblings, Christine Smithhart, Ray, Gerald, Harold, Barney and Albert Cannon, Jr.; and his stepbrother Heyward Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Nellie Jane McDonald Cannon; his sisters, B. J. McCombs and Ann Nicholson; and his nephews, Collin Sloan, Ian Sloan, Jason McDonald, William Martin, Robert Richardson, III, Rylan Sewell and Alex Cannon.
