He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Garrett and Mamie Lee Taylor Garrett; his wives, Judy Cox Garrett and Betty Earlene Manly Garrett; his brothers, Earl, James Lee, Paul and Claude; and his children, Lissa Garrett Langley and Dennis Murray Garrett.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Blakeney (Steve), Katie Ward (Kevin) and Bob Garrett (Renee). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
