She was predeceased by: her husband John Garmaney "Red" Southerlin, Sr.; her parents, Fred Stokes Hargrove and Ethel Bell Barnett; and her sister Barbara Joyce Bowles. She is survived by: her children, John "Johnny" Garmaney Southerlin Jr. (Becky) of Toccoa, GA, William Fred "Billy" Southerlin (Sharon) of Anderson, SC and Doris Ann "Dotty" Whitted; her grandchildren, Derek Southerlin, Ashley Pritchett (Jamie), Josh Southerlin (Tanya Deedee) and Jamie Southerlin (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Savannah, Madison, Kylie, Jaime Rae, Emilie, Lily Grace, Hunter, Avery and Walker; and her great great grandchildren, Cason and Saylor Mae.
