Henry Taylor Gilbert Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on March 3, 2026, at the age of 71, Henry Taylor Gilbert of Travelers Rest, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Chester Gilbert and Sarah Silvers Gilbert; his daughter Tracie Lynn Gilbert; his siblings, Jack Gilbert, Coleman Gilbert, J. T. Gilbert, Jesse Phillips, Annette Holbrooks and Marcelle Morgan; and the mother of his children Janet L. Medlin.
He is survived by: his sons, Henry Chester Gilbert, Brian Kelly and Jason Collins; his granddaughter Haidyn Taylor Howard; his sisters-in-law, Helene M. Kibblehouse and Diane Medlin; and his brothers, Stanley Gilbert and Garson Gilbert.
The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of St. Francis Hospital Downtown and to Via Health Partners The family respectfully requests that no flowers (of any kind) be sent.
