He was predeceased by: his spouse Alaine McCallister Sosebee; his parents, Fred Fernando and Nellie Watts Sosebee; and his siblings, Raymond Sosebee, Delores Anders and Shelby Franks.
He is survived by: his children, Tracey Cantrell (Rodney), James Sosebee, Jr. and Chris Sosebee (Autumn); his siblings, Nina Anders (Jerry) and Roy Sosebee (Libby); his grandchildren, Austin Cantrell (Ashley), Madison Cantrell, Meredith Sosebee, Parker Sosebee, Prestyn Sosebee, Collins Sosebee, Jemma Sosebee, Steele Sosebee and Cason Sosebee; and his stepgrandchildren, Henry Elmore, Imogen Elmore and Isabel Elmore.
