He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hughes and Lottie Bolden Hughes; and his sister Linda Johnson. He is survived by: his son Larry Michael Hughes (Laura); his grandchildren, Hayley Brooke Crymes (Steven) and Abbey Leigh-Anne Knight (Kenny); and his great grandchildren, Aleigh Crymes and Everleigh Knight.
