With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Watson Berry of Trenton, South Carolina, born in Edgefield, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2025 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her mother Grace Robinson Derrick; her husband Thad; her son Raymond; and her siblings, Cleve Watson, Lena (Richard), Audrey, Evie (Earl) and Sue.
She is survived by: her son Patrick (Karen); her sister Judy (Richard); her grandsons, Tyler (Emily), Derek and Matthew; her great grandchildren, Ellie Jo Rose and Liam; her daughter-in-law Pam; her siblings-in-law, Tommy, Butch and Nancy; and her sibling's children, Christine (Chip), Lisa (Rick), Jeanne, Walter, Wayne, Tim (Jessica), Chad (Brandi) and Clint (Christa).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home, Inc. (801 Columbia Rd, Edgefield, SC 29824). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Johnston Pentecostal Holiness Church (95 Edisto St, Johnston, SC 29832).
