He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel B. Rice and Edith L. Toney Rice; and his siblings, Joyce Andrews, Peggy Stephens, Grace Crowe, Robert Rice, James Rice, Henry Rice, Edith Lewis, Dan Rice, Jr., Rachel Williams, Linda Bailey, Sue Castro, Gloria Ashby, Donald Rice and Margaret Patterson.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Gragg Rice; his children, Tonya Michelle Rice Temples (Curtis) and Bud Rice (Kimberly Sammons); his grandchildren, Madelyn Grace Radke (Matthew), Hunter Bryson Temples, Cameron Blair Rice and Spencer Grace Rice; and his great grandchildren, Grayson Cole Radke and Blair Adelyn Radke.
