William D. Whitlock Sr. Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of William D. Whitlock Sr. of Trenton, South Carolina is shared. William, born on June 5, 1930, passed away on September 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
William will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor William by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though William is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. William’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Logan Whitlock and Thomas H. Whitlock; and his granddaughter Rachel Grace Baker. He is survived by: his wife Peggie Whitlock; his children, Dave Whitlock (Janis), Ashley Whitlock, Melody Boylston (Micah) and Cassy Robinson (David); and his son-in-law Rick Burns. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home, Inc. (801 Columbia Rd, Edgefield, SC 29824).
