John Calvin Grier Obituary

Though John Calvin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Calvin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Francis Calvin Grier. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Gutzke Grier; his siblings, Francis E. Grier (Beverly) of Greenwood and Kennedy Grier Proctor (Dan) of Greenwood; and his siblings' children, Lori Proctor, Andrew Proctor, Hayes Richter and Meg Grier. He is also survived by four great-nieces and one great-nephew.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Edgewood Cemetery.
