He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Vance Escoe and Minnie Hazel Vest Escoe; his daughters, Terrie Lynn Hurtt and Debra Jean Grogan; and his brother Charles Reese Escoe.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Alice Golden Escoe; his children, Lisa Major (Dan Leo) and Vance Escoe (Tracey Fowler); his sister Shelby Eliowitz; and his grandchildren, Ashley Rhodes, Brittney Major, John Major, Matthew Hurtt, Nikki Hurtt, Brook Grogan, Trey Grogan, Ty Grogan, Vance, Dallas and Cassidy Escoe. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Harley Funeral Home and Crematory (1025 Main St S, Greenwood, SC 29648).
