We announce the death of Sherrill Dianne Sargent (Turbeville, South Carolina), born in Pell City, Alabama, who passed away on June 29, 2026, at the age of 79. Sherrill will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Odell Harris and Eleanor Whitten Harris; and her son Billy Eugene Sargent. She is survived by: her sons, Brian Sargent (Kristie) of Turbeville and Chris Sargent (Tori) of Spain; her sisters, Judith Harris Johnson of Mississippi and Mary Jo Dingus of Tennessee; and her nephew David Dingus.
