He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Carl McElveen and Silema Welch McElveen; and his siblings, Joanne Hickson and Ronald McElveen. He is survived by : his wife Jan Beasley McElveen of Turbeville; his sons, Jonathan McElveen (Kristi) of Turbeville and Josh McElveen (Susan) of Turbeville; his siblings, Myrna Thames of Columbia, Carolyn Morris (Wendell) of Manning, Mary Beasley (James) of Turbeville, Lloyd McElveen (Rhunett) of Turbeville and Vernon McElveen (Cindy) of Batesburg-Leesville; and his grandchildren, Ansley McElveen, Harley McElveen, Peyton McElveen and Paislee McElveen.
