It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Strickland Brant of Ulmer, South Carolina, who passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Frank Brant, Sr.; her parents, Henry Carl Strickland and Margaret Eula Nettles Strickland; her son-in-law Doug Hightower; and her grandson Joey Brant.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Hightower, John Brant, Jr. (Sherry) and Robin Hogg (Michael); her grandchildren, Stuart Hightower (Marci), Barrett Hightower, Mandy Powell (Zac), Curtis Bloodworth and Brooke Williams (Bubba); and her great grandchildren, Hannah Hightower, Alanah Hightower, Nora Wooten, Andelyn Powell, Braxton Brant and Gracelynn Williams.
