He was predeceased by: his parents, James Crosby, Sr. and Elwillie Jackson Crosby; his siblings, Reverend Samuel Crosby, James Crosby, Jr., Robert Lewis Crosby, Fred Crosby, Sarah B. Coleman and Mary Alice Crosby; his nieces, Dianne Crosby and Penny Coleman; and his nephew Reverend Bobby Lee Crosby.

He is survived by: his close friend Althea Coleman; his nephew Mackroy Crosby (Arin); and his nieces, Joann Wallace-Coleman, Sandra Coleman, Janie Mae Lipscomb, Lisa Jones-Coleman, Jovonne Byrd and Jennifer Crosby. He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
