She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Walter and Effie Lee Charles Barber; her son Mark Kitchens; her granddaughter Erica Kitchens; and her siblings, Bruce "Bo" Barber, Charles "Butch" Barber, Trudy Billings, Linda "Dumpy" Ward, Ann Gray Hulon, Peggy Davis and Sylvia "Snookie" Lawson.
She is survived by: her son David Kitchens (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Margaret Roberts, Laura Crisp, Michael Kitchens, Lee Kitchens and Anna Harris; her great grandchildren, Jewel, Logyn, Tatum, Lilah, Beckham and Lakelyn; and her siblings, David "Skeeter" Barber and Debrah "Cooter" Beck.
