She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Gore and Celia Ann Norris Gore; her son Wade Edward Hampton, Jr.; and her siblings, Victor Gore, Sam Gore, George Gore, Willie Mack Gore and Angienella Giles.
She is survived by: her husband Wade E. Hampton; her children, Timothy Hampton (Donna), Latoya Shonika Hampton (Fredricus Smith) and Natasha Shanelle Wedman (Maurice); and her siblings, Arthur Lewis Gore, Debra Ann Darby and Agnes J. Gilliam. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
