She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Hughes and Ossie Mae Smith Hughes. She is survived by: her children, Timothy Hughes, Melvin Hughes and Ieshia Good; her siblings, Willie Lee Eison (Shirley) and Josephine Hughes; her children, Aliyah Booker and Alexis Booker; and her friend Dorothy Greeley. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Community Mortuary (102 Marion Ave, Spartanburg, SC 29306). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Fairforest (200 Charity Dr, Spartanburg, SC 29301). A burial was held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at the same location.
