He is survived by: his children, Helga Longino (Tony) of Pelzer, SC, Gloria Clardy (Chris Patrie) of Inman and James Clardy of Gray Court, SC; his siblings, Billy McDowell of Inman, Terry McDowell (CeCe) of Inman, Johnny McDowell of Spartanburg, Jerry McDowell (Linda) of Inman, Mary Padgett Hall (Tom) of Boiling Springs, SC and Joyce McDowell Wright (Dick) of Spartanburg; and his grandson Christopher Longino Craig (Misty). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Seawright Funeral Home (429 Sugar Ridge Rd, Inman, SC 29349).
