She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Jennings and Ruby Smith Jennings; and her siblings, Eddie Jennings, Joseph Jennings, James Smith, Marvelous Jennings, Willie "June" Jennings, Alphonso Kelly, Louella Jennings, Carolyn Ann Jennings Evans and Kathryn Jennings Thompson.
She is survived by: her husband Woodrow Jeter, Jr.; her children, April Lindsay (Christopher) and Reginald Jeter (Latrisha); her grandchildren, Wesley Jeter (Shekenia), Jasmine Miller (Shauntez, Sr.), Damion Jeter (Aleiha) and Zaire Jeter; her great grandchildren, Arianna Jeter, Keilan Jeter, Harper Jeter, Shauntez Miller, Jr. and Aubree Miller; and her siblings, Larry Jennings (Andrena), Ruby Cheek, Essie Mae Jennings and Alberta Shelton. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bethesda Baptist Church (1553 Tinker Creek Rd, Union, SC 29379). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at the Thomas Chapel AME Church (1326 Tinker Creek Rd, Union, SC 29379).
