He is survived by: his children, Keith Thomas (Deborah), Leon Thomas Jr. (Kathryn A.), Anthony Thomas Sr. (Natasha O.), Richard Thomas and Chavonda Mobley; and his siblings, Clifford Johnson, Curtis Johnson, Kevin Peake, Dwight Peake, Daryle Peake, Louise McKim, Corrie Grant, Barbara Rice-McClurkin, Rosalyn Rice-Warren, Erica Peake, Donna Peake, Rachel McCrea and Denise Tucker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Community Mortuary (361 Meansville Rd, Union, SC 29379). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the New Hope AME Zion Church (324 Minnow Bridge Rd, Union, SC 29379). A burial was held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at the same location.
