She is survived by: her parents, Larry Steele and Cherie Steele; her stepdaughter Mary Hardgrove; her husband Joe St. John; her stepson Austin St. John; her son-in-law Drew Hardgrove; her godchildren, Miranda and Uriel Gonzalez; and her pets, Eve and Cujo.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burgess Funeral Home (1800 Charlotte Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church (238 Fort Mill Hwy, Fort Mill, SC 29707).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Shannon St. John's honor to: MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas.
