She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Cook and Tiny Sula Wiggins Cook; her son-in-law Wendell DeLoach; and her siblings, James Cook, Benny Cook, Jaylee Cook and Evelyn Cook.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Wilbur Crapse, Sr. of Varnville; her children, Yvonne Carrol DeLoach of Luray, Thomas Wilbur Crapse, Jr. (Penny) of Cummings, Cheryl Lynn Youmans (Larry) of Brunson and Nancy Brenner (Joseph) of Varnville; her siblings, Douglas Roy Cook of Varnville and Betty Smoak of Varnville; and her grandchildren, Ray Avant, Shannon Parker, Denise Trotter, Jason Howell Crapse, Julie Brunson, Jessica Carson, Miranda Carroll, Michelle Aiken, Tiffany Rodriguez and Savana Gill. She is also survived by 35 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Homes and Crematory, Varnville-Hampton Chapel (1074 Yemassee Hwy, Varnville, SC 29944). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Huggin Oak Church of God (6586 Yemassee Hwy, Varnville, SC 29944).
