We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2025, at the age of 78, Maree Peeples Goethe of Varnville, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry C. Peeples and Lottie Thomas Peeples; and her siblings, Henry Ouzie Peeples, Robert Peeples, Harold Thomas, John F. Peeples, William Peeples and Honoree Nelson.
She is survived by: her husband William H. "Billy" Brown, Jr.; her sons, Brian J. Goethe (Lauren), Michael E. Brown and Kevin A. Brown (Kelly); her sister Magdalene Goethe; and her niece Patricia Crosby. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that those who wish may send memorials to Gideons International or St. Jude' Children Hospital.
