He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Guilds Rentz and Norma Mave Strickland Rentz; and his granddaughter Elizabeth Jayse Rentz. He is survived by: his children, Lyndsey Dobson (Brant) of Crocketville and Whitney Rentz (Kristin) of Varnville; his grandchildren, Taylor Dobson (Kayla), Parker Rentz, Casyn Dobson (Belle), Ryland Dobson and Sabryn Rentz; his great grandchildren, Bentley Dobson, Cooper Dobson and Shuler Dobson; and the mother of his children Cheryl Brown (Jim). He is also survived by his siblings, nieces and nephews, and a host of friends that he considered his family.
