He was predeceased by: his wife Annie Ruth Redd; his parents, Dollie Redd and Minervie Redd; his siblings, Earline Wood, Minerva McSwain and Garvis Redd; his daughter-in-law Linda Redd; and his grandson James Richard Bartley.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Redd and Susan Clay (Don); and his grandchildren, Evan Redd (Michelle), Lindsay Redd and Heather Edwards (Eric). He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
