He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Vereen; his sons, Allen Walter Vereen and Alexander Owens (Amber); his brothers, Tony Vereen and Billy Joe Carter; and his sister-in-law Felicia Vereen. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
