He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Michaela Marie Elliott and James Andrew Elliott; his brother Mark Rushton; and his stepfather Crawford Lee Hinson. He is survived by: his wife Sara Bell Day Rushton; his children, Tammie Kay Alveshire (Gary), Joshua Joe Snipes, Jessica Marie Elliott (Michael) and Andrew Scott Snipes (Destiny); his grandchildren, Brittany Dixon (Caleb), Scott Andrew Tager, Harry Alveshire, Daisy Alveshire, Bella Marie Elliott, Gracelyn Joy Elliott, Jasper Miles Snipes and Harper Callie Snipes; his great grandchildren, Claire Stark, Avery Tager, Cash Tager and Darlene White; his brother Anthony Rushton (Laura "Lolly"); his sister-in-law Stacey Rushton; his nieces, Amy Miller (Matt) and Mariah Matthews (Earl); his nephew James Rushton (Linda); and his parents, Arlene Willliams Hinson and James Rushton. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
