We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2025, at the age of 76, Pete Bodie (Wagener, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Bodie and Edith Grace Lott Bodie; and his brother George Eargle. He is survived by: his wife Kay Wingard Bodie; his children, Michael James Bodie (Nicole) and Kimberley Anderson (Josef); his grandchildren, Kalie Hedden (Jacob), Kendal Bodie, Kinsley Bodie, Peyton Anderson, Palmer Anderson and Malakai Anderson; his great grandchildren, Dawson Hedden, Dax Hedden, Demi Hedden and Tyler Ryan Bodie; his brother Thomas Luther Bodie (Sylvia); his niece Jessica Baugus; his great-nephews, Shane and Blake; his brother Bryan Satcher; and his pets, Molly and Pugzy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bethcar Baptist Church (950 Bethcar Church Rd, Wagener, SC 29164). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
