He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clay Stalnaker and Hazel Norton Stalnaker; his brother David Stalnaker; and his grandson Anthony "Tony" Cole. He is survived by: his wife Linda Martin Stalnaker; his children, Johnnie Clay Stalnaker of Pelion, SC, Dana Lynn Gregory (John) of Sparta, GA, Misty Dawn Cole of Wagener, SC and Carrie June Stalnaker of Irmo, SC; his sister Debra Corder of Leesville, SC; his grandchildren, Alissa Stalnaker, Brooke Stalnaker, Hannah Cole and Clayton Sturkie; and his great grandchild Langston Sturkie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cole Funeral Home (1544 University Pkwy, Aiken, SC 29801).
