We bid farewell to Betty Chapman Knapp (Walhalla, South Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 27, 2025 at the age of 88. Betty touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Lester Leroy Knapp; her parents, Elisha Chapman and Mae Chapman; her former husband Buddy Land; her son Tracy Land; and her siblings, Milton Chapman, Arthur Chapman, Henry Chapman, Clara Bell Powell and Gladys Powell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tereca Moore (George) and Tammy Overman (Thomas); her grandchildren, Rebecca Kehe (Jeff), David Moore (Jenny), Nathan Moore, Charles Kehe, Katherine Kehe and Charlotte Moore; and her siblings, Charles Chapman (Essie), Shirley Long, Linda Chapman, Irene Green, Linda Vaughn (J. E.) and Irene Chapman.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Davenport Funeral Home (311 SC-11, West Union, SC 29696). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at the Oconee Memorial Park (1923 Blue Ridge Blvd, Seneca, SC 29672).
