She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Joseph Della Vecchia of Walhalla; her parents, Harold Squires and Dorothy Squires (Kloman); and her brother-in-law Peter Trentacoste. She is survived by: her children, Eugene Tarver, Jr. (Tara), Stacey Quintal (Anthony) and Denise Della Vecchia (Ritchie Mason); her siblings, David Squires (Caroline), Barbara Jean Trentacoste and Sandra Mercurio (Phillip); and her grandchildren, Johnathan Tarver, Christopher Wilson, Alexandra Martinez and Michaela Quintal. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Davenport Funeral Home (311 SC-11, West Union, SC 29696). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the M. J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery (140 Inway Dr, Anderson, SC 29621).
