She was predeceased by: her spouse Marion H. "Bud" Murphy; her parents, Benjamin Franklin and Alberta Kelley Bowen; and her children, Billy Joe Murphy and Linda Ann Joiner.
She is survived by: her son Jimmy Ray Murphy (Cheryl) of Walhalla, SC; and her daughter-in-law Louise "Bessie" Murphy of Seneca, SC. She is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
