He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Michelle Stephens Herndon; his daughters, Erica Hope Herndon-Woody (Patrick) and Emily Caroline Herndon (John); his sisters, Therese Herndon-Fowler (late Jack), Elizabeth Herndon Janda, Katherine Wells (Christopher), Regina Targal (Mart) and Angela Mitchell; his brothers-in-law, Garry Bonebrake, Howard Gubbs, Hank Stephens, Mitchell Stephens (Brenda) and Nathan Stephens (Joanna); Indy, William Ray Stephens (Dude) and Barbara Sue Crane Stephens. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Faith Center Church (115 Worley Ln, Walhalla, SC 29691). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
