She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Ed Cushman of Walhalla; her parents, J. Q. McGuffin and Rachel Turner McGuffin; her former husband Kirby Land, Sr.; and her siblings, Mattie Rimrodt Kelley, Maude Austin, Margie Williams, O'dell Chappell, Marion Towe, J. T. McGuffin and L. B. McGuffin.
She is survived by: her children, Rachel L. Smith (Cooly) and Kirby D. Land, Jr. (Debbie); her grandchildren, Reah Land Smith (Andy), Roth Smith (Jessica), Matthew Land (Lisa) and Koban Battle (Anna); and her great grandchildren, Aubrey Battle and Davis William Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Davenport Funeral Home (311 SC-11, West Union, SC 29696).
