He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Day of Walhalla; his mother Bette Rose White Day; his children, Matthew Burroughs (Crystal), Mark Burroughs, Bobby Burroughs (Marilyn), David Deal (Laura Hunnicutt) and Anna Deal; and his sisters, Tawn Day Standiford, Kimber Day Milbratz and Bretta Day Kiernan.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davenport Funeral Home (311 SC-11, West Union, SC 29696). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at the Evergreen Memorial Garden (970 Highlands Hwy, Walhalla, SC 29691).
