It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vickie Clara Grant Stokes of Walhalla, South Carolina, who passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Curtis Grant of Tamassee and June Fisher Grant of Tamassee. She is survived by: her children, Ethan Stokes (Gloria) of Walhalla, Krystal Stokes of Clemson, James Stokes of Clemson, Joshua Stokes of Walhalla, Jessica Hope Freeman Chapman of Easley and Ivy Freeman of Easley; her husband Scott Stokes; and her siblings, Regina Grant Lyda (Lawrence) of Pickens and Doug Grant of Salem. She is also survived by six children, 12 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in Vickie's honor made to the Cottingham Hospice House, 390 Keowee School Rd, Seneca, SC 29672.
