With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Larry Owens of Wallace, South Carolina, born in Greenville, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Larry left this world on June 12, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie R. Owens and Annie Edwards Owens; and his siblings, Dan Owens, Doug Owens and Myrtle Odom.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Thomas Owens; his sons, Scott Owens of Atlanta and Brent (Marlyn Owens) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Andrew Owens and Jenny Shugart (Grant); and his great grandchild Cope Shugart.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Taylors First Baptist Church (200 W Main St, Taylors, SC 29687). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
