She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Bunton, Sr. and Reba Crosby Bunton; the father of her children Joseph Charles Hiers; her brothers, Robert Lee Bunton, Jr. and Calvin Bunton; and her half-sister Ann Graef.
She is survived by: her children, Crystal Gail Hiers Crosby of Early Branch and Phillip Michael Hiers of Columbia; her grandchildren, Lacey Michelle Holcomb, Christina Gail Martin, Charles Allen Martin, Dustin Ryan Martin, Michael Phillip Hiers and Alexis Hiers; her great grandchildren, Ava Holcomb and Lindey Holcomb; and her siblings, Barney Ray Bunton of Walterboro, Paulette Barnes of Walterboro, Brenda Stanfill of Round and Darlene Bunton of Walterboro. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
