He is survived by: his wife Beth Caddell Ricketson; his children, Charles A. Ricketson, Jr. (Ashley) and Angela R. Lowery (Harold); his grandchildren, Dustin, Lindsey (Trey), Cierra (Scott), Zachary (Mackenzie) and Tre; his great grandchildren, Sebastian, Abigail, Kennedy Mae and Austin; and his sisters, Shirley Newcomb and Rosie Soderland. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Homes and Crematory, Walterboro Chapel (1193 Bells Hwy, Walterboro, SC 29488). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
